PST PREPARATION HINTS
Preparing Properly For The PST Can Mean The Difference Between Passing Or Failing. Below are Guidelines To Help Your Performance.
NUTRITION
- DO NOT Workout Hard The Day Prior To Taking The PST.
- Drink Plenty Of Fluids The Day Before: Water Is Best BUT Avoid Soda And Definitely NOT Sports Drinks Energy Drinks Such As RED BULL, ROCK STAR, MONSTER ETC. This Type Of Beverage Is PROHIBITED.
- Eat a well-thought out evening meal the day before the PST: 6-8 ounces of meat(FISH/POULTRY/BEEF), a side of vegetables and rice/potatoes.
- Start drinking fluids again in the morning
- Eat a power breakfast that is nutrient dense but does not bloat you like oatmeal, banana, bagel, and a grape juice drink
- DO NOT EXPERIMENT AND EAT SOMETHING FOR THE FIRST TIME THE DAY OF YOUR PST. YOUR DIGESTIVE SYSTEM SHOULD BE USED TO WHATEVER YOU CONSUME. EXPERIMENTS THE DAY OF LEAD TO NAUSEA OR VOMIT MID-EVENT.

GENERAL NOTES
- GO TO BED AT A REASONABLE TIME, NO LATER THAN 10 PM.
- WAKE UP EARLY AND START PREPARING.
- REMEMBER, IF YOU ARE TAKING THE PST LATER IN THE DAY/MORNING YOU NEED SOME FOOD FOR ENERGY.
- ARRIVE EARLY AND RELAXED
- BRING A POST PST ENERGY BAR/FOOD & STRETCH!!
